First Baptist Church Of Wyoming and Otter’s strategy is how we develop our vision. It is about leading people in a process of discipleship of Jesus and commitment to the New Testament church.
OUR VISION
To be a community of followers of Jesus who show God’s love to those around us.
Our mission is to extend the kingdom of God and form a family around faith, our church, which grows spiritually based on the Bible, Christian service, and missions in the world so that everyone can honor the name of God. In other words, we feel called to evangelization, communion, Christian education, service to others, and worship of God.
Strategic lines
The vision of our church is broken down into 2 strategic lines, one is developed internally and the other externally
WE INTEGRATE
We integrate new members into the church family, loving, learning, and living together in harmony. It is about leading believers to spiritual maturity and holistic stewardship. To do this, we seek to train each member for a meaningful ministry, helping them discover, apply and develop the gifts and talents that God has given them. The ministries that are mainly in charge of carrying out this strategy are the ministry of Christian Education and the ministry of Fraternal Communion.
WE TRANSMIT HOPE
WE TRANSMIT HOPE to hurting people so that they can find love, acceptance, help, forgiveness, guidance, and encouragement. It is about proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the people around us from the Villetown neighborhood to the Community of Wyoming and its surroundings. The ministries that are primarily responsible for this strategy of the church are Worship, Proclamation, and Social Service.
